Here is an example of an artist proof print which is completely experimental! 🌿

Most of the time my artist proofs are the initial tests I try with my blocks while I'm working on a new print, testing colours and papers! 🌷

Sometimes, it will be prints where something happened in the process that caused them to be too different from the edition, like a smudgy effect, or areas where the ink didn't take! 👀

This time though I just tried a new composition, with the intention of making a new edition, but didn't like it as much as I thought I would! 🙅🏻‍♀️

But I love playing around with blocks in my studio, and really love all the prints I made from these ones!

Anyway you can find this one in the seconds sale for @supersecondsfestival if you perhaps disagree with me and like it! 😅

This beauty is currently @southbank_printmakers for their Miniprint show! 🖤

It's called Demon Friends, and the inspiration of course always starts from the @draw_brighton life models! 🌿

I have definitely felt like I have been fighting my own demons lately, mainly overworking and not listening to my body! 🌷

So this one is reminding me to make friends with the parts of me that push too hard! 👀

While my weeks have been full of admin (for many upcoming exciting things), I have again blocked out the week after just for art making and I am praying that I will get to make some new work! 🙅🏻‍♀️

I thought I would share more about Super Seconds Festival happening this weekend! 🖤

This is an online festival where hundreds of makers make available for sale all their seconds and samples! 🌿

For me, these are prints with small inconsistencies from their editions, that I made while I was perfecting a print, that could not be sold at full price! 👀

My seconds sale page on my shop explains this in detail, and each listing will tell you why each print is an artist proof print! 🌷

I have hundreds of prints up there, heavily discounted! Only one copy of each for most so first come first served! 🌻

They are up on my site already (they were supposed to be up on the 4th of Oct, but I wanted to give you extra time as I believe in slow shopping), and my sale will be on until the 7th of October, after which, prices will go a bit higher again! 🙌🏻

Jade Dreams of Change is likely one of my favourite prints I have made, inspired by the wonderful life model @the_hylton! 🌿

There is one day left to see this one and its friend in the Small But Mighty show @re_printmakers at their Bankside Gallery! 🖤

It will travel to a few places next, as well as my upcoming solo show, and I still haven't found an occasion to bring it to @greenwichprintmakers yet! 👀

Jade is surrounded by symbols of change, transformation, and protest. This print helped me in my journey of trying my hardest to keep a hopeful outlook in the darkest times!🌷

"The Boar" and "The Bear" have recently sold @greenwichprintmakers, so I am bringing more framed on Monday! 🌿

This is The Bear, and if you look closely you might notice that the noblewoman was turned into one! 👀

I've talked lots about these prins inspired by the @vamuseum Boar and Bear Hunt tapestry, and they are still some of my favourite I have made recently! 🖤

I loved printing them on @awagami_factory papers with my @ritualispress baren, they were just a lovely experience start to finish! 🌷

Tomorrow I will do my monthly walk through the new Greenwich Printmakers show Into The Wild which I planed to do today but it involved so much editing! 🙌🏻
