Original prints are prints made by the artist's hand, through original printmaking techniques. I specialise in linocut prints, which are handcarved by me using knives, and then printed using ink, rollers, and a printing press. Each print is therefore unique through this process, and I often make them painterly to achieve this. Etchings are made by inscribing a metal plate with marks, and then using acid baths to etch these marks into lines that can hold ink. The plate is then printed by hand, by pressing ink into the lines, and wiping away excess ink. Here again, each print in the edition is unique. Yes I ship worldwide, including the EU! There are new legislations that always affect small businesses unproportionately (GPRS, EPR), but unless states otherwise, assume that I do, as I always endeavour to remain compliant quickly. For many different countries within the EU, there are no customs fees anymore, as I pay them in advance through my courier, and are included in just the shipping fee at checkout (which is a standard shipping fee, and not inflated)! The parcel will arrive straight to your door, with no extra fees whatsoever through Royal mail!This is the list of countries where this is possible: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. For the following countries, this service is not yet available: Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania and Slovenia. So be aware that VAT and customs charges will apply (which are often significantly reduced for original prints, but not other products), and you may have to collect the parcel from border control.For USA, there will be no extra fees when your order is under $800! Currently, original prints are exempt from tariffs.Otherwise products have a similar set up to EU, where the price is incurred in the shipping fee at checkout (which is a standard shipping fee, and not inflated), and I pay it in advance when shipping. As explained previously, all original prints involve the hand of the artist, firstly in preparing the plate, and then printing that plate using rollers or other methods, making every print unique. My editions are most often limited editions of 30 or 50 prints, and they are always closed editions, meaning I will not print that image again more than that, and they are numbered and signed. Prints also come with a certificate of authenticity which is also signed and numbered!

I have shipped hundreds of prints worldwide, and have never had an issue with damage! The prints are backed by cardboard multiple times, and snuggly fitted into packages perfect to their size!

My packaging is entirely plastic free except for a small vinyl sticker, or where plastic is involved, such as bubble wrap, this has been reused and repurposed! I do not buy bubble wrap new! If there are ever plastic sleeves (which is rare), these are compostable! The linoleum I use for carving my prints is made from a mixture of linseed oil and wood pulp, making it environmentally friendly, and I very rarely use other vinyls!
