My work also often includes patterns, and my prints have a decorative feel to them because of this. Relief printmaking lends itself very naturally to creating patterns, through repeating marks and a variety of tools with which to create them. Philosophically I also align with the Arts and Crafts Movement, so my exploration of pattern also follows this legacy.
