Some recent musings from me on scale and my future plans of making both bigger and smaller works haha! 🖤

This triptych is currently @greenwichprintmakers for their show In Bloom, and I'll be in the gallery all day on Saturday the 21st of March so you can come say hello! 🌿

Working wood has made me feel very excited about scale, but also all the playing I have done recently, combining my prints and framing them in larger arrangements! 👀

It's definitely difficult scaling up your work from a small home studio, but don't I love outgrowing studio spaces! 😅

What kind of art do you like? I'm so into really tiny or really large right now!

I've had a couple of mad weeks, and I felt so unprepared as I also didn't manage to have the printing day which I desperately need to have before, which would've meant I had more artist proofs available! 😅

This was a linocut print that I experimented with and which didn't make the cut to be made into a limited edition print, so it is now up as an artist proof, but I'm definitely not done playing with figures and flowers! 🌿

Here is an ode to my favourite linocut prints in gold ink on black velvet paper! 🖤

As you might know my Heaven and Hell prints are moreso a personal interpretation of an imagined character's idea of them than an exact pedagogy! 🌿

Until my most recent woodcut print these were also some of my largest prints to date, they are A3 in size! 🙌🏻

I am so excited again to make larger and larger work, and I would love to also come back to this combination of ink and paper 👀

What would be your personal idea of Hell? I think mine would be having to doomscroll for eternity, though I already struggle with that enough in real life! 😅
