This was a day long woodcut printmaking demonstration held at Southbank Printmakers Fitzrovia, where I permanently show work, part of the Open House Festival in September, sponsored by John Purcell Paper and Jackson's Art Supplies.

What was meant to be a short walk through the technique, turned quickly into a workshop, where people were entirely engaged and carried on carving the wood and taking prints.

I also brought blocks that had been carved by me, and the public made printed collages from them, carrying on printing them and making unique compositions to see how they turned out.

It was such a busy and exciting day with around 70 visitors total, all so engaged in the process.
